Sedum Roof Installation, Rathgar

In mid-July, our team completed a 33 square metre sedum roof installation on a flat roof extension in Rathgar, South Dublin. With a gentle gradient of approximately 1 degree, the roof was ideally suited for a low-maintenance, sustainable green roof system.

The preparation work was completed to the highest standard, ensuring proper drainage and substrate support. The sedum was rolled out smoothly and has since taken well. We applied the first organic feed immediately after installation to promote healthy root development.

The client has been advised that the next feed will take place in October, followed by a seasonal flower harvest. This helps the sedum settle before winter, keeping the roof looking vibrant and lush year-round.
